The Challenge
Post pandemic, as people spent more time outdoors, there was a slowdown in the contribution of marketplaces as a channel of sales across the spirits and beverage industry, therefore creating a need to scale up onsite marketing operations
OMG team, who is the partner of Diageo, found it hard to scale up the performance although they are backed with many people due to the manual work and high velocity required to optimize the performance in real-time. As there are many ads unit (SKU, Keyword), it led the problem even harder to control. As having many SKUs with different product line, It’s necessary to structure the product at different group to manage but that can’t be done via the marketplace
